Not sure what to say?

I was one of the lucky students who got to have Dr. Wright as a Spanish professor throughout my time in college. While his brilliance was apparent from day one, it was his compassion, kindness, and empathy that had a profound as well as lasting impact on me as a person. No matter how busy Dr. Wright was, he had an uncanny ability to make you feel as if you were the only one in the room: he listened carefully, looked you in the eye, and, inexplicably took time out of his already busy...

I met Chad wile living in Cambridge. He was a gentle , witty soul. I only saw a few times but kept updated. It sounds like his life was spent in kindness and humble but brainy ways. I would love to hear if he left any 'writings', He had all the qualities to make them meaningful.

I met Chad in Cambridge in 1968. He introduced me to a little Spanish café in Harvard Square where he always ordered paella. I still think of Chad when I see paella on a menu! We kept in touch by e-mail or met in Boston if I was visiting and he was teaching at UMass. I miss you, Chad.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

I missed being a little kid and Chad would come home for the holiday’s. He would be sitting in the chair and every time I would try to go past he would go from being very serious and pretending not to pay attention to me to scaring the crap out of me and grabbing me and tickling me to death. It was my favorite time with Uncle Chad. I love you and will miss you until we meet again.

Chad was a man who knew and practiced Christ like charity. He was kind to everyone. He will be missed.

I am honored to be on the same family tree as Chad--a fine gentleman and a brilliant scholar.

Chad fulfilled the "measure of his creation" in a most noble manner and was a blessing to all who crossed his path.
