Not sure what to say?

Oh, my, I did not know Chad had passed until I read the SMH Shield today. I'm so very sorry for the loss of this very special man. Chad was in my third grade class when he first moved from Louisville. He was sad and missed his friends. He wanted to move back. We talked many times about how hard it is to move, and it wasn't long until Chad was the most popular in the class. What a personality and sweet little boy! Fond memories of Chad and his lovely family. My most sincere condolences.

I did not know Chad well, but he was always jolly and friendly around me. He always made the Halloween parties epic! He will be missed. Sending prayers and condolences to all that love and knew him!

Our hearts are so heavy learning of Chad´s passing. It´s been 25-years since our kids (Taylor) graduated from VMI. Because we were only 4-hours away we were able to participate in so many activities and Chad was always there. So many great memories. I know losing your son is heartbreaking but know your love and guidance made Chad who he was. He served his community/country well. We had know idea he was a musician. What a talent. Gordon and I have our arms around you and we know...

Thinking of you and your family our prayers are with you . You had a great son what an accomplished young man . Much love .

Dear Neely Family, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Chad´s passing. I have not seen Chad since graduation from VMI, but remember taking many Economics courses with Chad and watching him play football. He was such an amazing person and I can only imagine his impact to others after VMI. Your family is in my prayers during this difficult time.
