Not sure what to say?

Chalice and her family became close friends of ours while living in Chico. We enjoyed camping trips on the coast, Holiday dinners and playing cards. I am proud to have been a close friend to Chalice.

Chalice was my sister and I loved her. I know because we were so specials to each other, that we will be together in the next life. Doing the simple things at home, I will remember her patience, her love of nature and birds, her talent with her hands. Each time I fill my bird feeders she will come to mind and I will smile.

Chalice was such a special person, quiet and loving, creative and inquisitive. I met Joseph and Chalice in a class at the Unitarian Church and Chalice and I continued on in a group with other classmates for the next 5 years. Because of her quiet way it was hard for me to imagine her giving orders in the military! She was a complex, multi-talented, interesting and very loving person that I was lucky to know.

Joseph, you and Chalice were a bright light at our tai chi sessions. She was a sweet sweet lady and I will miss her immensely as will the others. Bruce

Chalice was kind, soft-spoken and truly made people feel special. What a gentle, lovely person she was!
