Not sure what to say?

Chandler was my elementary school friend at Arlington Heights Elementary School. I remember her as being quiet and friendly and pretty! What a legacy she left. Her Grandfather would be proud. What good memories I have with her! The Roosevelt name is special! From: Katherine Lee Presently 90 years old, living in Colorado but missing Texas! October 4 2023

We send our deepest sympathy to the family with heartfelt love and friendship.

As a fellow classmate of Chandler- Hockaday 52-
I write to extol Chandler's many virtues and talents-
At Hockaday she excelled in all the virtues of a class president, member of the White Team, and outstanding member of the Boarding Department.
I'm very recent years I have enjoyed her great charm,
wit, and hospitality.
May the angels of mercy and joy surround her dear family, whom she loved beyond measure.

Much love to your family...The family of

Chandler was a wonderful and independent member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board during the 1980's and 90s. She made many friends and admirers during her term despite her convictions that led her to sometimes vote against the wishes of some presidents or faculty friends. A great public servant with the courage of her convictions.
-Kenneth Ashworth, former Commissioner of Higher Education

I had the lovely good fortune to be a guest at Chandler's beautiful home. What a beautiful , gracious person. So interested in finding out about her guests' lives. I'm so sad I won't be able to enjoy more visits .
With deep felt sympathy,

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" (Isaiah 61:1, 2) sustain your family during this challenging time. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

I am so sorry for the immeasurable loss of your loved one. May God strengthen and sustain you with 'everlasting comfort and good hope' and 'comfort your hearts' during this deeply sad and terribly difficult time. - 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
