Charice Mae Maggaline Jones was on born April 2, 1949, in Villa Rica, Georgia to Mary Nell and Charlie B. Jones.

Charice dedicated her life to her family, raising her kids to be strong and outstanding individuals.  She prided herself on bragging to anyone who would listen about her kids.

She was very creative and could turn a full-length leather coat into a crop leather jacket without a sewing machine and it looked so good.  Growing up, we thought her food was gourmet, especially her homemade peanut butter cake.  She also made sure our clothes stayed clean and our faces were never ashy.

Charice’s pastime was sitting on her balcony all day long until those damn squirrels would run her off.  She loved her black-and-white movies, westerns, and her absolute favorite, THE PRICE IS RIGHT!

Charice departed this life on July 8, 2023, on her way to her oldest son, Gerald’s celebration party “Making Sixty Look Good”.  She prepared her outfit a month in advance, getting her hair and nails done, she was so beautiful. As she left this life, she was not alone, she was in the loving hands of her youngest son, Sherman.  I do believe the Lord arranged it for us all to be together on that day to support one another and to celebrate her life. Charice leaves behind to cherish her memories, six children, Gerald V. Morris (Carolyn), Vena Morris, Steven Morris, Angela Augustus (Vernon), Felecia Morris, and Sherman Morris (Priscilla); four sisters, Carolyn Anderson, Linda Hyler, Sabrina Hall-Blandin (Maurice), and Carmen Jones; two brothers, Ronald Jones (Teresa), and Christopher Jones (Rachel); twelve nieces and nephews, fourteen grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
