Not sure what to say?

Charis was welcoming, collaborative, and beyond brilliant. She was funny and warm, available and helpful. She was a mentor, and a friend, and supported me unconditionally; she helped to guide my career seamlessly and intentionally, made research fun, and never ceased to amaze those around her with her ideas and depth of knowledge. She was loyal and kind and loved Christmas carols, especially "Oh Holy Night," I will never forget her, always looked forward to seeing her, and will look...

Charis was truly one of a kind. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to collaborate with and learn from her fierce and funny spirit. I deeply appreciate the risks she allowed me to take and her support through all stages of my career. O Holy Night will always bring a smile to my heart, and I´ll never drink red wine without sending you a "Salut!" Ta for now, oh Queen of Cowden, from Jessi Me, AKA the Princess of PTEN.

Dr. Eng's contributions to science as well as patient care will be felt for generations. I am appreciative for the time I had to work with her.

I´ll always remember my first meeting with Dr. Eng in her office seven years ago for my job interview and our last meeting four months ago before her passing for my APR. No words can express my appreciation for her mentorship, inspiration, and unwavering support. She made a lasting impact on all of us and our patients. May you rest in peace with your loving parents. You will be forever missed and cherished.

I had the honor of working with Dr. Eng as part of my role at Cleveland Clinic. Her research accomplishments and compassionate care of patients was truly inspiring. The world is better because she was in it.

My condolences to Dr Eng's family, friends and co-workers.

Dr. Eng had impressed and inspired everyone who worked with her. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you today and always.

I had the pleasure of knowing Charis since she was a medical student at the University of Chicago when she was on my clinical service during my residency. Then we were together at Harvard University as we completed our training in Oncology and we both stayed on faculty for several years in Boston. Remarkably, we both joined The Ohio State University over twenty years ago. Charis was a friend and an exceptional scientist and mentor to many. A remarkable career that will be measured by...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
