Charlene and I met in our neighborhood on a warm day a couple of years ago. She was walking her "grand dog" and I was walking my pooch. Her lovely smile and warmth were gifts to me during that first conversation and in the many that followed. She was generous with other gifts as well that came from her garden. She would often leave beautiful tomatoes for me on my door step in the summer. I miss her. And this winter especially, I will miss seeing her beautiful, knit scarves hanging from her...

Auntie Charlene was a beautiful person inside and out! She was loved so much by all of us and will never ever be forgotten! I love you auntie charl! May you rest in the sweetest peace!
