Dear Charlene, I still remember your trying to talk to me on the phone during your last Spring. It was taxing for you. That puts into perspective your leaving this Earth to join Will. However, the memory of you endures this fifth anniversary of your death. Your cheerfulness and generosity live on in my mind. I still recall your joy when, on Christmas Eve 2008 just after my mother's September death, I left on your doorstep a small Christmas tree she'd made. Thank you for enhancing my life....

I miss your cheerfulness. You are not forgotten.

Dear Charlene, yours was a life well-lived. In traditional measures, your time with us was too short. I like to think that you are now with Will. Thank you for your inspiration, generosity, voice and inimitable laugh. The service for you was a well-deserved tribute. I wish I had a recording so I could remind myself of your outlook on life.

I was saddened hearing of the passing of "my songbird" Sleep On..And looking forward to the day we sing in GODS heavenly choir together!! My Condolences to your family and church family. Praying with you and for you all!

This woman is one of the most positive, graceful women I knew. She was wholly aware of her blessings and counted every one. As part of her church family, I can sincerely say she will be missed.
