Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Charlene's illness a few weeks ago. We served together for many years on the Historic Preservation Commission. Her knowledge and contribution to our group will be missed as will her accounts of trips around the world. My condolences go out to her family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Charlene's passing. We served on the Kiwanis District Board together and even explored Taiwan together during a Kiwanis Internatinoal Convention, sharing many a laugh and creating wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to her family for their loss of this amazing woman whose legacy will be fondly remembered.

Selfless, kind, sincere and tireless...we are all better people for having known Charlene, and she will be missed. Her legacy lives on through all she has accomplished in the name of service to others.

Charlene was a fine lady, and I enjooyed knowing her and working with her in Kiwanis. We will miss her charm and enthusiasm.

Charlene was truly a genuine person, committed to whatever cause for which she gave her full devotion. I am a better person for having known her, and Kiwanis was a better organization because she was a vital member. She will be missed.

Charlene was one of my favorite Kiwanians here in NJ. She worked tirelessly to start 4 Kiwanis Aktion Clubs and encourage the challenged adults to give back to their communities. As one of my Lt Governors over the past 15 years, her advice helped guide me through some tough club management issues. Charlene will be sorely missed in the NJ Kiwanis District. We will always love and appreciate you for the wonderful person and friend you have been.

Charlene served as one of my Kiwanis Lieutenant Governors during my term as NJ Kiwanis Governor. She was intelligent, uplifting, and a very selfless and giving person. It was an honor to have known Charlene. She b rightened my day!

It was my great privilege to know such an erudite, cultured and compassionate lady.
I will dearly miss her stimulating fellowship at Kiwanis - I learned so much when she shared her rich experiences of life.
I am also most thankful for her passionate advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities.
Blessed repose - eternal memory.

A fine lady who offered so much to her community. I have fond memories of Charlene, and offer my condolences to her family and the K-Family of Washington.
