Candy was my nursing instructor 30 years ago at Roane State. She, Margaret, Priscilla and Elaine were amazing role models and guided me to a much loved nursing career. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest sympathies to Candy's family on their great loss. She was a classy lady, wonderful teacher, and a delightful colleague. I always enjoyed seeing her graceful entrance to any meeting. Visiting with her over lunch was always a treat. She made this math professor smile. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear that Candy has passed away. She was my nursing instructor at Roane State 15 years ago. She was an excellent instructor and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Because she wanted her students to be prepared when they completed the program to successfully pass state boards, she had a reputation of being demanding. So sorry to read this...Candy was my nursing instructor 25 years ago at Roane State....she went out of her way to make sure you learned what you needed to be an excellent nurse... could not help but love her.... prayers of comfort and strength are sent to the family..
