Not sure what to say?

Gone but never forgotten, Mrs Lucas has fought a good fight, I will always remember her as my long lifetime friend, who had always inspired me, and encouraged me. Rest on Charlene, you will surely be missed, but God knows best.

May cherished memories bring comfort to all who loved Charlene!

My Love and Prayers are with the Family. Cousin Charlene was a sweet, kind and Loving Cousin. Use to love going to Wilson to visit the family, we had so much to talk about when we became teenagers. I will always keep those memories in my heart. Now it's time for you to rest. Love you always, Cousin Joan Powell Davis

Thinking of the good times we had when visiting our family on Reid Street our second home. We love all of you. Love, Constance, Mccrorey and Linda.

For the family of Charlene C. Lucas

Saying goodbye to a loved one is surely one of life's most difficult tasks. Hearing of my dear friend's illness and transition was most challenging. We shared the pleasures and challenges of adolescence and young adulthood as sistas. I will cherish my memories of times spent together in N. Reid St. and the Maryland homestead.

For the family, in this season of deep loss, may you be blessed and lifted by your memories.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I have dreaded making this condolence for as long as I could. Cousin Charlene you will be greatly missed. Renee, Ruby and the Powell Family

Prayers and condolences to the Lucas family that I have known for over 40 years. My heart grieves for and with you during this season. May the joy and memories of her life with you comfort and keep you. Trust and depend on God for peace.

My sincere condolences to the family of Charlene Lucas and and the Christian family. Be blessed with warm memories of an angelic child of God. You are in my prayers during this period of sorrow. Peace Juanita Eldridge Winston-Salem, NC
