Charlene Raynor O'Brien

I'm very sorry to hear of Charlene's passing. I rented the house she and Fran built in Mabou Harbour during its first winter, as I was getting ready to leave Cape Breton and move out to Alberta for work. I would often see them in the summers when we were both back in the Mabou area. Charlene was a true beauty. She radiated warmth, contentment, and always a certain, simple elegance. Cuiridh mi clach air a Càrn (I will put a stone on her cairn/I will remember her).
