Beth & I are forever grateful to have Chuck & Jeane as our neighbors. You have many neighbors in a lifetime but not many become dear friends. He was a dear friend. I first met Chuck at Bible Study in the Bay Area. We stayed in touch through the years and sent pictures of our families at Christmas. Since my husband grew up in the Seattle area, we also visited Chuck, Jeanne & their kids when we were in Washington for reunions or vacations. We will all meet again when we get to Heaven!

I was so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He was among the most kind and decent men I have ever met. When I came to work for the PUD in 2004, he immediately came alongside and made me feel comfortable and valued. He did his best to explain how electricity worked (several times), but I only got about 10% of what he told me!
