Not sure what to say?

One year plus later- Dec. 2018. So if you were here right now Charlie, I wish I might say this to you. This morning returning to and passing in front of your Tower Place in Buckhead, where I would come to see you so many times I stopped here for a moment to wonder about you. Its been many years Charlie. It was saddening to discover looking online of your passing. As a young man, a young designer starting out, in the mid-80's in Atlanta- Charlie, you shared and taught me so many...

I actually introduced Charles to Baltimore where he developed Equitable Bank Center (I worked at Equitable) and the then the C&P Baltimore HQ Building. He brought along a young employee, Mike Prentiss, whom he mentored. Charles Ackerman was and is a giant among men because of his kindness and sensitivity to the combined experience of all living things and the artifacts that helped us understand them better. He was and is a mensch and I for one have been better off for having known him in this life. RIP, Charlie.

Mr. Ackerman was a very dedicated member of the Clark Atlanta University Board of Directors. His leadership and devotion will continue to impact the lives of our CAU community members and far beyond those borders.

May you find comfort in prayer and in God's promises found in his word. John 6:44

Our sincere sympathies to the family of Charles Ackerman, a great businessman, community leader and long time board member of Clark Atlanta University.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your love one.

A true Renaissance man. Charlie impacted more commercial real estate careers than anyone. He was extremely charismatic and will be remembered by many forever.

Those who fall asleep in death will forever be in Gods memory. He eagerly awaits to awaken them very soon as he foretells in John 5:28
