Not sure what to say?

I only just heard of Father Aho´s passing when I saw a Mass request in St. Daniel´s bulletin. I was so saddened to see that and to think his funeral was only a week ago and I could have gone had I known. He was a wonderful and caring man and my mother and I enjoyed going to daily Mass at The Franciscan Villa. No matter what the weather, one could always depend on him showing up. Such dedication! I will miss you! Rest in the arms of Our Lord, good and faithful servant. Jeanne Maurillo Sullivan

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Fr. Charles Ahi, Catholic chaplain with me and Rabbi at the Syracuse Developmental Center. May he Rest In Peace and his memory be eternal.

Father Charles meant a great deal to our family, and has always had a fond place in our hearts. He was my sister's Godfather and a dear friend to our Mom. We send our condolences to his family for their loss, and prayers of gratitude for his life. The Lane Family

Fr. Aho had a boys choir at The Cathedral back in the 70's. May of the catholic school boys were members. He was a great leader and I remember when he played the organ at Cathedral it was really amazing. God blessed us with Fr. Aho.

It´s been many years since I lived in Syracuse but I remember Father Aho from his time at the Cathedral. He spoke deliberately and intently. A very intensely religious man. Rest in Paradise

The world has lost a brilliant light! Go in peace, Charles. We will miss you always.

Father Aho was a wonderful teacher when I attended St. Pat's! We had many lively philosophical conversations about life and our religion. He was also kind enough to do my Mother's services for us. R.I.P. Father (I'll be ringing a bell so you get your wings! )

Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
