Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Akers. I was one of his students in the late 60's. I spent over 27 years in the public schools and never forgot his class and the things I learned there. Hopefully, my students will also pass it on.
I wonder who he is inteviewing in heaven. Thanks to him I am still interested in our history.

My sympathy for Dr. Akers' family. I was just one of many freshman students at OU when I took one of his US History courses. It was a class I enjoyed greatly and I went on to become a middle school teacher - teaching that same course I took from Dr. Akers. When I talk about Abigail Adams to my students I often think of Dr. Akers' class.
