Not sure what to say?

We learned about Charlie and his legacy while exploring remote corners of Alaska and stumbling upon what might've been a homestead of his. He sounded like an amazing individual. We talked about him so much during the following days that he felt like the 4th member of our adventure party.

I am so sorry for you family's loss. Although I have never met Charles in person, I felt compelled to express my sincere condolences after reading about his life. He was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed by those in his life. I hope you find comfort in knowing what God promises for our deceased loved ones. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Charlie was one of our favorite pilots taking us into our cabin over the years. A wonderful person - our guest cabin will always be known as "Charlie's Cabin". The Robert Fejes' family

Hands down my favorite principal! I have thought of him many times over the years with a smile on my face. When your mom is on the school board and dad a director in the school district it was easy for principals and teachers to treat me differently on either end of the spectrum. Not once did I feel that he treated me differently. Mr. Akers allowed me to be my own person and I honestly have loved him for that! Thoughts and prayers for the Akers' family as you mourn your loss. And thank you...

I am so sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in knowing that God has written a "book of remembrance" for Mr. Akers. (Malachi 3:16)

Our sympathies go out to all the AKERS family. So very sorry for your loss.

Charles Akers, your countrymen bless you for your service to your county, Rest in Peace.
