Not sure what to say?

I thank God for the opportunity to care for Dr. Alford. With deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts of a great man. May the Lord continue to comfort and strenghten all family members.
Continued blessings in the Lord,

Sincerest sympathy to the family. We grew up next door to Dr. Alford and were sorry to hear of his passing.

I am sorry for your loss, susan i hope you and the family are doing ok

I will never be able to thank "charlie" enough for what he taught me. His most important contribution was the day I left Birmingham when he told me "I have provided you an opportunity that I am glad to see you have taken advantage of. Do the same for someone else and we'll call it even." Dr. Alford was a huge influence and I will never be able to thank him enough. eric knox

Sorry to hear of the loss of Dr Alford. I grew up living across the street from his Mother. Mac and Sue were good friends of mine. I wish my wife and I could be there for the funeral but can't. My wife worked for Dr Alford after we were married. Our thoughs and trayers are with you all.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dr. A was the most considerate person that I ever worked for. He was a dear friend and I will miss him. To Caroline and Susan, who I watched grown up, I know you will miss him but will have many wonderful memories to help you during this time. Sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral but will be flying out on Friday for a visit with my brother in Asotin, WA. Love you. Margie

It was a rare honor and pleasure to work with you. You brought better health to many babies by your wisdom and hard work. Your wit as well as your unique abilities as a wordsmith will be sorely missed.
