Charles Knowles Alford Jr.

Charles and I have a lot of history in common. We both were born on the same day, we both attended Texas Tech and were in the Army ROTC. We were commissioned the same day in the same branch of the Army. Most of my duty was at Red River Army Depot near Texarkana. We both were promoted to 1st Lt. on the same day. I also went to work at NASA's then Manned Spacecraft Center, now called Johnson Space Center and we were both involved in the Mission Control Center, but were not in the same Divisions...
