Not sure what to say?

Wow, this memory just popped up in my email today, 13 years since this loss. Not that I ever need a reminder of Dr Alpert because he's still as relevant in my life today as much as he was 13 years ago. He'll never really be gone as far as I'm concerned!

Dear Robin & family,

Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you at this time of year.

Dr. Alpert was my doctor and my friend. I miss his compassion, his intelligence, his warmth, his sense of humor, and his approachability.
His family and staff are in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband Bruce and I were both patients of Doc Alpert and we were totally shocked when we heard he passed away suddenly. He was much more than a doctor - he was a friend and a great man. He always asked how our family was doing, how our new granddaughter was growing, etc. He took a personal interest in his patients, and I don't believe we'll ever find another doctor of his type. He was one of a kind. We just moved to Georgia, and we are at a loss as to where to even start to find a...

Dr. Alpert has been an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Pain Society, has been a presenter in his areas of specialty and had been nominated for the next Board. We will miss his spirit and his contributions.

I was so shocked this morning when I informed of Dr. Alpert passing. It was a total shock. Dr. ALpert helped me overcome a problem that i never thought i could. I have been ok for over a year now, and it is all because of him. I am so sad to see a wonderful man.To the family,I am truly sorry, just remember how much your husband and father made an impact on everyone's lives.I am again truly sorry. May he rest in peace.I will truly miss seeing his smile and he was one of a kind.

Dear Robin (& children), Essie & Eddie, Nancy, Lindsey, Shari, and the rest of the staff at APM,

I've been in shock since I found out about Doc's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Doc Alpert was much, much more than my doctor; he was a true friend. I was able to talk to him about anything, things I would have otherwise kept in because there was no-one else in the world I would have trusted as much as I trusted him. I've been a patient of his for 3 years now, and I...
