Not sure what to say?

Chuck was my uncle, and after my dad Tom died made sure to send to keep in contact with me and my siblings. He sent me a Secret Sam briefcase spy toy one year and I thought it was the coolest gift ever! I was in Afghanistan when he passed away but will never forget how he called me 'Brother' - the way combat veterans do - when I last saw him on Memorial Day, 1998. Thanks for the love, Uncle Chuck - you were one of my heroes!

I have great memories of summer cookouts and tubing down the Stiillaguamish River near Arlington, Washington with Chuck, Sherrie & friends. Their son, Cody, and my son enjoyed playing together when they were kids. Chuck was very proud of his son, and I’m glad that he was able to see Cody grow up to become such a terrific husband and father with his own family. Peace to you, Chuck.

I was Chuck's neighbor in Marysville for ten years. He was a hard worker keeping up his yard. I miss his smile and the huge eighteen wheeler as he could smoothly park it across the street from me without any difficulties. He was a caring neighbor would always be there for you if you ever need him. He knew how to grill and that barbecue kept busy all year long. I never tasted barbecued corn on the cob till he made it one year for my mother's birthday. He loved his dogs and cared for...

I will always remember Chuck as the "cool" uncle. In 1980, when I graduated from high school, Chuck sent me a "Hang 10" t-shirt with the then active volcano, Mt. St Helen, on it. I wore that shirt until it was no longer wearable. The gift forever sealed his "coolness" with me. You will be missed here, Uncle Chuck, but I know you have found the peace you have been searching for.

We had many years together. I remember our "young" days, riding motorcycles with our sleeping bags on the back, traveling all over WA. Chuck always took pride in keeping our yard and lawn looking nice, but I know what he was most proud of, is our son, Cody. He has always held a special part in my heart, and always will. I feel like I have lost a part of myself, in his passing. I will remember him with a smile on his face. Sherrie Thompson

My deepest sympathies to Chuck's loving family. Keep the happy memories.

Chuck spent many holidays and special occasions with our family, he always took time to talk with each of our kids and grandkids about school, sports or their special intrests, and he usually had a joke for them. Everytime we had a get together, even just a cook out the kids would ask "is Uncle Chuck coming?" They loved "Uncle Chuck" and always enjoyed his visits. He shared part of Cody's yearly visits with us, it was important to him that Cody know his cousins, aunts and uncles and of course...

You will be missed Uncle Chuck. See you on the other side take care of Grandma.

May the Lord Bless and Keep you Charles.
