Not sure what to say?

One of the nicest people I have ever known in my life. Served with him in the Navy. Very saddened by his passing. I think of him often. Hope all his family is doing well.

At the anniversary of his passing, please know that your First United Methodist Church family will always remember your dear Chuck and continue to hold you and your family in prayer. May God Bless Charles Swanson Anderson!

Chuck was one of Dallas' best city managers. I remember the council turning to him when there was a major crisis in the tax department. He fixed the problem with confidence and went on to head up DART. I interviewed him for WFAA on the first day as Dallas city manager. A class act who I know will be missed by many. Kathy and I send our condolences to his friends and family.

Just found out this Xmas that Chuck had passed. I thank Sherril for letting me. I served with Chuck in the Navy aboard the USS Elolokomin. We corresponded for many years. His passing has saddened me deeply. Bob Allen

It's hard to put into words what Chuck meant to me. He was a good friend, but so much more. He was a mentor in every sense of the word. I certainly owe any success I ever had in public service to Chuck. Of course I learned management and leadership skills as his assistant, but what he really gave me was a self confidence in my abilities that was sorely lacking when I first came on board. I'm sure there are a hundred more that were privileged to work with Chuck that feel as I do, and that...

Chuck was a real professional who was a real credit to the city management profession. He helped guide my career and assisted me in securing my current job as City Manager in Fredericksburg. He will be missed by many.

Having just heard of Mr. Anderson´s passing this evening, I wanted to share my sincerest condolences. Though I only met him on a handful of occasions during our college years, he left an impression as an honorable man. And he definitely helped raised two outstanding young men who carry on that tradition and whom I´m pleased to call good friends. God bless you all. Love, Bryan Holland.

On behalf of the First United Methodist Church Fort Worth Congregational Care Ministry, we want you to know that your FUMC family is lifting you and your family in prayer during this most difficult time. May God Bless Chuck Anderson!

My deepest condolences.
