CHARLES GREGORY “GREG” ARY
On July 2, 2003, Greg Ary, age 47, was called up for duty by our Heavenly
Father. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 6, 1955. Greg attended
schools in Muleshoe, Clovis and Roswell, New Mexico, Lubbock, and
Littlefield. In his early years, he was a pole climber, carpenter, butcher,
and also worked in the oil field. In his later years, he was a woodworker
for Shepherd Woodworks and Shepherd Saw Service.
On May 10, 1975, Greg and Priscilla Lemke were joined in wedded bliss; a
truly wonderful event for both.
Greg was a member of the NRA and was the Sergeant at Arms for the Tumbleweed
Horseshoe Club. He was also a long time member of the Lake Webegone
society.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Ary; his mother, Evalene Ary
of Lubbock; a sister, Diann Shepherd of Lubbock; and a brother, David Ary of
Lubbock.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ary.
Greg will be truly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 5, 2003, at
Sunset Avenue Baptist Church in Littlefield with Reverend Benny Goss
officiating. Burial will follow at Littlefield Memorial Park under the
direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Lubbock, Joe Arrington Cancer
Center of Lubbock, or Sunset Avenue Baptist Church in Littlefield.
