Charles Theodore Axarlis

Mr. Axarlis was one of the greatest teachers. I remember he had an old time radio in his classroom and he would say, "Let´s listen to some culture.". Then he would turn on his radio and we would listen to classical music while working. At first we would laugh and then as the year went on we liked the music. If Mr. Axarlis would forget to turn of the radio, someone would say, "Hey Mr. A, let´s listen to some culture." and he would turn on his radio. He was a good man.

Charlie was a great and intelligent man, liked by, because of hiss demeanor. I was a friend of Charlie as well as a classmate. R.I.P., Charlie.
