Read MoreI was unable to attend Chuck's memorial. I worked with him during my years at Bethlehem Steel, and I told him one time that he was both maddening and charming at the same time! He took that as the ultimate compliment. He was one entertaining fellow with a wonderful sense of humor. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Ayers Family:
The memorial service for Chuck today was moving and wonderful. I still feel sadness for your loss, but I left the service not thinking about Chuck’s death but rather thinking of the wonderful robust life he lived to the fullness. I will miss him . My htoughts and prayers are with you.
