Read MoreI knew Professor Babcock and his wife Mary in the early 1980's when my parents were in the midst of a divorce and Charles and Mary were members of our church(Jersey Unitarian) in Pataskala. I'll always remember the Babcocks making my mother and I feel welcomed in their home when they invited over for Christmas dinner. I always perceiced Dr. Babcock as being a highly educated scholar who was modest about his accomplishments.

Dear Babcock Family,
I was sorry to learn about Charles' passing. My father, mother and I, Randolph, Janet and Edward Snively, knew Charles through attending the warm-water pool classes at the Martha Moorehouse Center. Dad, mother and I would carry on conversations with Charles. Dad passed away in December, 2011 at the age of 92. Mother and I want to extend our sincere symmpathy to all of you.
