Charlie was a good uncle to his special needs nephew, Corey. They had fun together and Corey stayed with Esther and Charlie many weekends down through the years so his mom and dad could get a break.

A laugh. a smile, a hardy handshake, and a sincere how are you doing! Whenever you were fortunate enough to be in the presence of one "Butch" Bair, those elements all made their way to the forefront with gusto.... no matter if it was a family reunion or a more somber occasion. There was banter. There was the simple sharing of the joys and the foibles of the human experience and there was sure to be a plate of good food .... laughter .... and love. I, for one, will now unfortunately note that...

Esther and Leonard I am so sorry to hear of Charlie passing! He was such a wonderful blessing , especially when Dad was sick. My love and hugs go out to you at this time of sorrow! We are here if you need us in any way.
