Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Chuck's family. My husband, David, and I first came to know Chuck when we moved to Wallingford in the 1970s. He was a great guy who was easy to get to know and who had a wonderful sense of humor. He would acknowledge you wherever you saw him, no matter how long it had been, and always seemed happy to see you. My sympathies to Charlie's family. I have fond memories of Charlie in my GE Rutland days back in the 80's. His kind ways have left a lasting impression on me.

I'm so sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. I knew his Mom, of course, as all of us who grew up in Wallingford before dial phones did. But I didn't come to know Charlie 'til 1995 when my son and I moved back to Wallingford for a year. Dan and Tim were in third grade and Cub Scouts together... Charlie was their assistant troop leader. He was a good man whose path I feel blessed to have crossed. My most sincere condolences to Diane and all his family.
