Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Bangert,
All my love to you and your family - It has been many years since our paths have crossed - but i'll always treasure my childhood memories of you and Mr. Bangert, and remember with deep fondness the beautiful lifelong friendship you shared my mother and father. Love always, Deb Rankin

Dear Lu, Pam, Carol and family,
Knowing Charlie and you all since I was a child has been a treasure. I offer a heart full of prayers as you move through this time of sadness and change. May you all be well!
Linda Rankin, Knoxville, TN

Aunt Lu, although I have not been a member of the family for very long, you and Uncle Charlie always made me feel welcome. Brad and I always enjoyed our visits with you in Florida and especially in PA. I will always think of you when I have a glass of Courvoisier :-) Uncle Charlie was such a wonderful and kind person. We will miss him.
Love, Rose

I am honored and proud to share the same birthday as Uncle Charlie. May we all learn by his example to be kind and generous....

I am very proud to share the same birthday with Uncle Charlie. He was a kind and generous man. Love, Brad

Uncle Charlie will be truly missed and so fondly remembered by his family. He was very much a ROCK to all of us. He was the man we all looked up to and admired. He was our mentor and friend. Uncle Charlie was always sweet and kind. He was a devoted family man and Christian. He was a self made man. He had great pride and integrity. He really cared and was always concerned about everyone's well being. He loved people and loved to entertain. He and Aunt Lu always made us all, not only...

To Lu and all your dear family- I am so saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. You were both special to me for many reasons, not the least of which being that Karl (my former husband) worked for Charlie at Switchgear in the late 70's/early 80's.

You both were always so warm and caring-- We all loved having you back in town and coming to St. Peter's. I'm so glad you had so many, many wonderful years together- You were one of those rare, close-to- perfect matches- I think...

Lu, all our deepest sympathy. You and Charlie were always such bright spots in our St. Peter's Parish family. We looked forward to your journey back north every year. We shall all miss Charlie, but give thanks for his long life, and for you, his dear wife.
Cordelia and Steve

May God bless you, Charlie; you've earned it !

We at St Peter's Church in Philadelphia are sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
