Not sure what to say?

Mr Bassett was a precious soul. Loved both he and his wife. I helped take care of them as assistant to Dr Robert Pozner. Not good-bye but see you later!

Our condolences to all the Bassett family. Maggie and I had hoped to come to the services but distance and the threat of snow here in Crossnore kept us close to home. I lament that circumstances have kept us from better knowing my Basset kinfolks. Our most heartfelt sympathies are with you all

I remember all the times I had to dodge your daddy when he was responding to a fire call when I was walking the dogs down the drive. We use to have a good laugh over that. He was a wonderful and kind man.

Jean and Family, so very sorry to learn of Mr. Bassets passing. After 71 years with him, I know you are going to miss him very much.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Harley, Judy and Mack.

When I worked as a teenager in my father's store, Finkelstein's, it was Charlie Bassett who always came to my aid whenever I got in over my head with a customer. He had a great sense of humor, but more than that, he exuded trust and competence with everyone he worked with. He was a very important part of my teenage years. --Dr. Leo Finkelstein, Jr.
