Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Dr. Bauknight for all your years of service in the military and as a doctor healing others. You delivered my first child, a son Dec 30, 1967 at Columbus AFB, MS. I never forgot your name. Rest in peace!

From that rainy, cold night at Thanksgiving, 1976-the Bauknights have been part of our lives--maybe Charlie and Joe are playing golf!! It was never about Charlie--he was the most caring, thoughtful,,unselfish man I have ever known--his love of family was very special--whether it was his, John's or Clarence's--what a guy! Great memories--Love you all, Tina

Our heartfelt sympathy to Jody, Bill, and family for their loss. We know he was in pain and suffering for a long time so we pray that he is in a better place and has found peace.

Jody, Bill, Johannah, David, & Charlie,
I still cannot believe my oldest uncle Charlie has passed. He was an amazing man that taught me so much all the time. He lead a life of service toward others for 81 years. Today and going forward I praise God for allowing me to learn, understand, and have fun with Dr. Bauknight. My thoughts and prayers are with you all going forward as we all grieve the passing of this great man. Love, Brock

Dear Jodie, Johannah, Bill and family, Geneva and I were deeply touched upon hearing of Charlie's departure. It brought back so many memories of our 20 years as close neighbors. This family was like our family and there was nothing we would not do for one another. Charlie would get his camera out when he would see Geneva on the roof cleaning the gutters while I was on the ground picking up the trash. Please know of our thoughts and prayers for you. Thanks for all the good memories,...

Dear Family,
Johnnie and I are deeply saddened at the loss of Charlie, a very special person in our lives: cared for her from Columbus to here until he retired, delivered Billy (how well I remember that day) and brought us to Anderson. Arrived at Columbus the same day.Showed me (as best he could) how to play golf. Shared patients with me. A great man and friend and Physician. Allowed me the pleasure of knowing and caring for his parents. Truly a great loss.

I so enjoyed playing bridge with Charlie, he was a delightful, thoughtful partner, we miss him so much

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Jody and Bill.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. May you continue to cherish the memories you have and remember that God is there for us like it tells us at 1 Peter 5:6,7. I hope you continue to feel the love and support from your family and friends.
