Charles H. Beach

I just now found out that Mr. Beach passed away last year. I will never forget him. He was everyone´s favorite teacher at Chaminade. He connected so well with everyone he met and was such a positive influence on students like me. My sincere condolences to the Beach family, and my apologies for the lateness of my message.

Charles told me that teaching for Jesuit Worldwide Learning kept him alive. He was a treasured and loved member of our Jesuit Worldwide Learning faculty. My sympathies to you, his family.

This man was such a calming presence in a turbulent time at Chaminade. I am richer for knowing and learning from him, and I thank him for the time he spent with me. Rest In Peace, Mr. Beach.

I was blessed to have been taught by Charlie in his first year at Chaminade. My memories are of a teacher who addressed hard topics and reminded his students to employ empathy through a Catholic lens. He was a master teacher who devoted himself to his students. Rest easy, Charlie.

Charlie encompassed everything that makes a saintly educator. He was brilliant. He was compassionate. He was fun. He was innovative. I learned so much about how to really teach Theology from Charlie and I know that his legacy will live on for generations!

Very sorry to hear about the passing of such a great teacher and a kind man. Mr. Beach was always there for his students and helped educate us about world religions and our faith. He will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
