Not sure what to say?

I remember when you would come and pick up all the cousins in your truck and take us back to your place to work on the yard. We wanted to get paid, but you told us the food and drinks you supplied while we were working was payment enough! We still hopped in the truck every time Love and miss you Uncle Kitty. Rest In Peace

Mr. Charles was my Daddy's (R.V. Woods) friend as well as mine. We became acquainted about 5 years ago. Mr. Charles would tell me of working pulp wood with Daddy in the late 40's and 50's. He became a frequent visitor at the Newton County History Center, identifying people in photographs and teaching many things about his years in the log woods and the era he grew up in. I learned a great deal. He was quite the jokester. Welcome visitor in my home. I will miss Mr. Charles.

I was friends with Charles for many years. He was related to some of my relatives and a great friend to one of my cousins from Detroit. He would check in with me often to see how I was doing, tell me about the testing and vaccination sites, the weather or whatever was on his mind. I will miss him and that quirky laugh.

Mr. Kitty always had something funny to tell. Said he had just left the mechanic 's and he told him he had put over 900 miles on his truck since 3 months ago. Gona miss seeing you riding around.

To Wilma and the entire Bean family, you have my sincere condolences and prayers for strength during your hour of bereavement. Lillian Abbienette Powell

Rest in peace Uncle Kiddie

Mr Kitty always had something funny to tell! He loved him some catfish and was present at our fish fries where the ladies took turns waiting on him, making his plate, fixing whatever dessert he wanted and keeping his tea glass full. We bought Mr Kitty a Large Print Bible as he couldn't see the print in the one he owned. He was so...
