Charles Beck

I was Chuck's "Florida son." His wife and family befriended me at 24 while I was working in northern VA. Chuck became a second father to me-and later recruited me to the CIA, where he spent 30 years as a career intelligence officer. He is missed by many, and except for his wife, Marcine, and daughter Shari, and Steve, his son, none more than me.

It was only a couple of weeks ago when a few of us from Vienna/Madison were sharing fond memories of your wonderful family. Chuck was a wonderful person and we, as River Hills Lions club members, will miss him, and his many years of devotion to our club through his extreme knowledge and dedication. He was remarkable and will be sorely missed.

Chuck's involvement and influence on our River Hills Lions helped us to grow to 170 members. He was the "go-to" Lion for so many years. I will sorely miss him as both a personal friend and as a fellow River Hills Lion.

Chuck was a remarkable man. I am going to miss our conversations on politics, sports and our families. Chuck sure loved his family. My prayers are with the Beck family.
