My Uncle Edward was a great uncle to have. He often took me camping and he taught me to play ping-pong. He didn’t throw any games either; you had to earn a win. His only concession was when I was first learning he would play against me left handed; when I became proficient enough to win more games than not, he switched to his more dominant right hand where I learned the humiliation of losing again.
