12-17-08 Cousin Virgil V. Reeve to Cousin Jane Berger

Rarely can cousins say that they have had a personal relationship chronology of memories for sixty-six years.
Our family first met cousins Jane and John Purdy during the second world war when we were guests with their parents, Aunt Effie and Uncle Bill in Newport, Arkansas.

We wish to offer our condolences to Jane and family. We knew Chuck through his work with the Scotts Company. Enjoyed being with him whenever possible. He was especially helpful to Harriet when her husband was in the hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Valerie and Dan and the entire Berger family -
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our deepest sympathies to you and your families during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathies go...

Chuck was my college roommate and a dear friend for over 54 years. The world was a better place because of him. Judy and I will miss his warmth, his inquiring mind and his friendship. Our deep sympathies go to Jane, their children and grandchildren and to the entire Berger family.
