Charlie was a walking, dinner, and working (GD) companion of mine for many years. He was a great guy. The last time I walked with him he had his cane, which he was twirling around as we walked together. He obviously didn't need the cane. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends.

Charlie was a blessing to his neighborhood and community. He was an extraordinary family man and friend, and truly lived his faith.
Charlie was an important part of my childhood and that of so many children with whom I grew up in Bay Park. By his example, we learned the joy that helping others brings.

Charlie was my dad's woodworking coach. My dad was very fond of him. My dad is 94 and no longer doing woodworking. I'm not looking forward to sharing this news with him. I'm hoping to get my dad to the services. My condolences to the family. Beverly Goldsmith Harris for my dad - Chuck Goldsmith

I met Charlie over ten years ago while participating in the toy program at Palomar College. We became very close friends. He always had something good to say about everybody, and could strike up a conversation with anybody he came in contact with. I will truly miss his phone calls asking for help or just wanting to talk about life. Its hard to say good bye, but I know he's watching over all of us and I am sure he is wearing his angle wings! Rest in Peace my dear friend, you will always...
