Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to your family. Charlie was responsible for introducing me to working at NASA and he was a tremendous mentor.

Charlie was a great leader and a wonderful and caring man. I was so fortunate to have worked for him at Langley.

We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to Sue and the family. Charlie was a lifelong friend going back to Beaver High School football and at Va Tech. He was such a intelligent yet modest leader of a man that achieved much in his life and career. He always respected others and was always in good humor. He will be sorely missed. RIP Charlie old friend.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

My prayers and sympathy to the family...I was also in the BHS class of `56, and was Gayle´s neighbor growing up. Charlie was an outstanding member of our class, and the promise he showed then continued into his adult life. He will be remembered by all who knew him.

I had the privilege of serving as Charlie's Technical Assistant for one great year. Charlie was, perhaps, my best boss in all my years at Langley and he also became my friend. He will be sorely missed.

You will be missed by so many!

Tim, Chip and family. So sorry. Charles was a an amazing person. Will keep you in my prayers. Love family. Treasure the memories.

I looked forward to seeing Charlie every Sunday in the halls after worship. He was always humble, gracious, and complimentary of the choir. A remarkable man. We will truly miss his warm smile around Yorkminster.
