Not sure what to say?

Chuck knew how to smell the roses on the journey. He especially liked to laugh, and especially if it was at your expense! He was my Asst. Director at my State job. I'm sitting in my cubicle one day, and in motors a remote control vehicle and stops at my feet. As I'm looking at it, a small appendage raises up and squirts me with a stream of water! Of course, Chuck was operating the thing from out of sight. Years later, I had my own private office, and one day I was working at my computer and...

Chuck was such a wonderful man to all. He especially loved his family, fishing, being a good state employee and in my experiences over the years he was a joy to be with, RIP Chuck. My condolences to Jan and family

My condolences to the family . May you find comfort in your treasured memories and Gods promise to return our loved ones . 1st Thessalonians 4 : 13&14.

A sad day hearing of Chuck´s passing. Wow, what a life - he was a GOAT! The stories he told of life, fishing, boating, the colorful characters of S.E. Alaska, could fill at least a few books. I´m sure he´s tying up a Chuck original to cast with the Earl Case rod to some hangry Cutties and Dollies on Kowee, Montana, Sheep, and momma bear and cubs and the eagles are looking on with approval. God-speed, Chuck!

This is sad news. I had the good fortune to work for and with Mr. Blankenship. He always made work interesting and fun!

I feel blessed to know such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I still remember Chuck's "Corned Beef and Cabbage" concoction circa 1970. Chuck had a great, & subtle sense of humor. Condolences to his family. Jay Williams (Phoenix)
