Charles "Charlie" Denton Bledsoe, Sr. passed away suddenly October 28th, 2015. He blessed Jeanie as husband, April Bledsoe, Colleen Marvel, Chuck Bledsoe Jr., Jodie Gable & Rodney Dunham as father; Linda Doyel, Brenda Summers, Wanda Lollar, Rachel Bledsoe, Daniel Bledsoe, Hilda Bledsoe & Cathy Taylor as brother, and many more as dear friend. He has eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding him to heaven, his father William, mother Opal, brother Carl Bledsoe and sister Melissa Bledsoe. He was a mason of 32nd degree at the Hamilton Lodge #533, in the Scottish Rite and Shriners. He attended Spencer Baptist Church. He could most nights be found strumming his guitar perfecting a new song; Daily tinkering in his garage with multiple projects with faithful Jack sitting nearby; Often hunting with Chuck or every night watching a favorite music program while doing a crossword sitting next to his beloved. He was innovative, creative and funny. He will be so greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held at 3:30pm, Sunday, November 1, 2015 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Visitation will be from 1:30pm until the time of the service. Masonic Rites will be at 3:20pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Shriners Hospital for Children and Riley Hospital for Children. Jeanie, April, Coleen, Chuck, Jodie, Rodney. I am sorry for your loss Charlie was a good man, a good neighbor and co-worker. I will keep each of you and your families in my prayers that our Lord brings peace and comfort in these difficult times.

Although I never met Charles Sr., I know what a wonderful person and father he was, because I know Charles Jr. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
