Dear Sammye, I have thought of you and Charlie often since you left Georgetown College. Charlie was my "boss" and one of the most thoughtful, kindness, most supportive and inspirational bosses anyone could have. His legacy will live on in the thousands of lives he touched. I am forever indebted to Dr. Boehms for encouraging me to my career in medicine. He was one of the warmest souls I have encountered, and we all were blessed by his presence.

I enjoyed working for Charlie while I was director of student life at APSU. Charlie was one of the good guys. I appreciated his encouragement to me to pursue my doctorate.

I have such fond memories of the time I worked in the Student Affairs Office at APSU (80) and first met Dr. Boehms. He touched my heart in a very special way during the time I was a student worker because he cared deeply for the students. May God bless you during this time.
