Not sure what to say?

I met Charlie in 1974 at the Rocks Road archaeology excavations in N.H. It was his enthusiasm for his field, and my own interest that got me hooked for life. Of all the instructors I ever had he was the best!!!! I worked on many sites with him thru N.H. eventually getting my degree and going on for employment at Colonial Williamsburg as conservator in the archaeology department. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I remembered my time at UNH very fondly, especially my hours spent in his office. I may have not been the most traditional student but he was more than willing to work with me and help me. I just found out about his passing. I fondly remember him cursing his doctors and eating that snickers anyway and this was 20 years ago. I did go on to work in archeology for many years. It was because of this man I made it through. I'll always remember him. UNH class 2004.

To Russell and the Bolian family:
My sincere condolences to all as you mourn the passing of Charles. I had the honor of meeting him only a handful of times, however, I do remember him as a kind, generous man with a great sense of humor. He was a great supporter of Garrison Players where I met Russell and shared the fun filled cast parties at their home. Thank You and Rest In Peace Charles Bolian ❤

Sincere condolences to the family of Charles Bolian. What a fun loving, dry humor person; a true pleasure to be in his company. I pray his soul & Donnas as well Rest in Gods Heavenly Peace
