Charles Bouis Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
BOUIS, Charles Charles Elliott Bouis, age 89, of Atlanta, GA died Saturday, April 5, 2008. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a veteran in the United States Army. Mr. Bouis and his family moved to Atlanta, GA in 1963. He was a graduate and loyal fan of the University of Michigan where is received a degree in civil engineering. Being a forester and an avid bird watcher he loved the outdoors and nature, he also enjoyed square dancing. Mr. Bouis was a long time and active member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church for 43 years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois Bouis and is survived by three children, son and daughter-in-law; Howarth & Gloria Bouis, daughter and son-in-law; Margaret & Michael Woltering and daughter; Elizabeth Bouis, three grandchildren; Andrew Bouis, Emily Garner & Alex Woltering. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church 3098 North side Parkway, Atlanta, GA with Rev. Eddie Ard, officiating. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Anne's Purse in care of St. Anne's Terrace , 3100 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30327 or National Arbor Day Foundation at www.nationalarbor day.org.
