Not sure what to say?

He was my favorite teacher. I was in the band at Fairfax from 1976-1979 he taught me how to play several instruments and encouraged me to be all I could be . Thank you for being such an amazing man. You are very loved my many . You made me feel like I could have the whole world.

Love and peace to the Brady family, may God bring you comfort at this time.
From the Salazar Family

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear family and friends, We just heard about Charles' death and are saddened greatly. We remember him as one who helped us at then First Southern Baptist Church as our Music Minister. We were in the choir and served our God along side Charles those many years ago. And yes, our most vivid memory of him was his love of the Lord and giving a testimony of Him at every opportunity. Praise God for his life.

I look back to 1979 with a smile as I would strap on my drum and march with him to raise the flag in front of Fairfax school not realizing what a great misician I was standing next to.And how he would see me 30 or so years later and still remember me,always greeting me with a hug and the question Are you going to church? Mr.Brady is now playing where he belongs...with the Angels. To his family I give my deepest sympathy. What a great man.You were all truly blessed to have him and thank you for...

No words can express what my heart wants to say about my teacher, mentor and in recent years my counselor, co worker, sometimes pastor and dear friend. He was my choir/band teacher 31 years ago and 14 years ago became my co worker and friend. My best times with him were during Bible club. It was there that I saw the true, passionate man. He was humble, compassionate, and wise. I can not believe that as long as I knew him, I never knew the extent of his talent. He did not boast but was always...

My deepest condolences go out to Mr. Brady's family and friends. He truly was a wonderful man!! May God be with you all during this sad time!!

I never knew Mr. Brady, only the evidence and testament of his magnificent trumpet playing. I just learned of his passing, and it moved me to contact you. His playing (especially on the L'histoire recording) was and is a source of continued inspiration to me, and my sympathies go out to his family.

The article that came out in last Thursday’s Bakersfield Californian described Charles to a tee, emphasizing what a great trumpet player and even what a greater man he was. I first knew Charles as the music teacher from Fairfax middle school in Bakersfield and every year we would all get together during the honor band rehearsals and talk about everything under the sun. Charles loved his students, and never wasted a minute letting you know how much he cared for them.
He was rruly an...
