To know you are gone feels like it is all just a crazy nightmare. You were such a wonderful ray of light in a world full of darkness. Your smile, your laugh, those huge hugs that would make it all go away. And that sense of humor! Oh how I am so going to miss that. May serenity find its way to all of your family and friends in these hard days to follow even though your death will leave a void in our hearts forever. Hopefully one day we will all find a sense of peace that you are watching over...

I just loved Charles. He was such a friendly, easy-going guy. Every time I saw him he would give me a big hug and say, "Hi Mom". He always supported my son, Michael, in all his endeavors. Charles was part of Michael and Amy's wedding. Michael was in Charles' weddings. Michael and Charles met in grade school at St. Albert and have been friends since then, although Michael went to St. X and Charles to Trinity. It was a lasting friendship. We will all really miss Charles.
