CHARLES "CHARLIE" BRISTOL

Our condolences from many of the class of 1969. We were lucky to have been taught by such an enthusiastic and passionate teacher. His enthusiasm made us more interested in the usually, boring, American History class. Not only was he a great teacher he was THE teacher who listened to students and talked WITH them, not TO them.
When jackets and ties were the style teachers wore, he wore desert boots, khakis, rolled up sleeves and sat on a desk while he taught. He was always interested...

I did not know Mr. Bristol personally, but my parents spoke very highly of him. May he rest in peace. And prayers to his family.
