Not sure what to say?

Charles will be sadly missed.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the family of Dr. Charles Brown,
I met my cousin Charles 2 years ago during a Garvin-Glover family reunion in Charleston, SC. I am deeply saddened by his home going. Although our paths crossed at that one occasion, I knew him through his mother, cousin the late Corrie Brown from Ayer, MA. My family and I forward to you our deepest condolence. May God continue to bless you during this time of bereavement.

Dean, Howard University College of...

My deepest and sincere sympathy. I attended high school with Charles and Lynn. Over the years I remember with joy the times we shared. His humor and kindness was exhilarating. God rest his soul.

We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one, but God is always prepared to help us through that loss. May His presence begin the healing in your heart and may His love surround you with the comfort only He can give.

To The Family of Cousin Charles

During this time of mourning, may God bring you with love and peace. I had the opportunity at our last Garvin/Glover Family Reunion, 2006 to relax and talk with my brother. He will be miss by all.

On behalf of my Mother, Ms. Frances D. Garvin-Rouse our deepest sympathy to the family.

God Bless you and Christ Jesus be with you by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joseph Charles Rouse, Sr & Family
Grandson of Kendrick C. Garvin

We have been family for more than 41 years. At the age of 13 I hated reading I found it to be boring. Young Dr. Brown at the time told me that "Knowledge is Power". He gave me books by James Baldwin, Ralph Emerson and Richard Wright to read. This opened up a whole new world for me. Which helped mold me into the Nubian Princess I am today. To the FAMILY we were blessed to have had our lives touched by this incrediable brother. My prayers are with you.

My Sincere condolence and Heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dr. Brown's entire family.
" For God so loved the World that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

May God continue to bless you and comfort you during this time of bereavement.
