Not sure what to say?

Dear Ann,Bertha,& Charles,,,,,My deepest condolences...It was very difficult to talk to you all at the funnel and I am sorry ....I am sure by now Charlie D.O.D.M. has located all those that passed before him in the hunting, fishing and decoy world like Dad and others that where so close to the family. They are now looking down at some of us thinking and laughing at some of the stupid things we do...All the paint, fishing, and of course hunting parties that I experienced will ALWAYS be will...

I just learned of Mr Charlie's passing from our friend Roger. I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family. I'll never forget body booting with Charlie, Ed and Roger Muhler. These are some of my fondest memories gunning with these gentlemen. Mr Charlie and his decoys are legend I'm proud to have had him as a friend. Paul Price (Chief Yellow Hair)

As a little girl growing up next to Mr. Bryan Sr. in Essex, I had the pleasure of knowing his son and family through their visits to his Dad. I also graduated from Kenwood with Paul. Mr. Bryan Jr. always had time to talk with my family during those visits and often brought fresh garden vegetables for us from his garden. It was a pleasure knowing this kind man. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

We are so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We just found out this morning. What a wonderful man, he was such a caring, loving person. His contribution to the waterfowler's all over the state of Maryland and beyond will always be remembered. God Bless Miss Ann and the family.

MR. CHARLIE WAS A VERY DEAR FRIEND OF MINE AND I WILL MISS SEEING AND CALLING HIM. WITH DEEP REGRETS I SEND MY CONDOLENCES. VERNON SORRELL, LAGRANGE, NC

Charlie was always kind to me whenever I would see him at decoy functions, and the couple of times I visited his home. A truly gentle and caring man, I will miss seeing him.

I spent many wonderful hours with Charlie and he will be fondly remembered in my heart. He would teach me his methods of carving and painting decoys and I hope one day to be just 1/2 as good a man and carver as Charlie Bryan was. I will miss being in his company. My thoughts and prayers go out to Anna, Charles and the rest of Charlie's family. With deepest sympathy, Chuck Taylor
