Not sure what to say?

To the Burgoon Family, deepest sympathy and thank you for sharing this wonderful, gentle man with us. Father Burgoon guided us, educated and mentored us and our children, encouraged us and then thanked US for any service to the church. Truly unbelievable qualities. The Funeral Mass was beautiful and I'm sure he knew each person there by name! We were blessed the years he served as our Pastor at St. Gregory.

A great friend to our family for so many years...Thank You and God Bless You, Father Burgoon.

I was a student at St. Gregory, and Father Burgoon was invited to one of my grade school reunions a few years ago at the VFW Hall in Overland. Father Burgoon came, and everyone seem delighted when he sat at various tables in the room and talked with them. Father Burgoon also remembered my name and George's. We are glad we became parishioners at St. Richard Church and met Father Burgoon. We will always remember him and pray for him.

Father Burgoon was an amazing priest. He was pastor at St Gregory when my girls went to school there. He also married both of them years later. He will be missed by so many people. He is having a great time in Heaven now RIP Fr Burgoon

Thank you for all of your wonderful years of service. We appreciate how kind and caring you were to everyone. May you rest in peace. God Bless you forever!

Rest in the peace of Christ, Fr. Burgoon. We are grateful for your years of priestly service at St. Gabriel.
And for your kindness and compassion. You will remain in our hearts until we see you again.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. What a wonderful man and priest.

Fr. Burgoon was a first-rate catholic priest and it was a real honor for our family to call him our friend.
There are two things that stand out for me about Fr Burgoon: First, despite the worst snow storm in 1995 and his arm in a sling, Fr Burgoon came to my fathers wake as if it was vitally important for him to be there for us. And, second, he exceeded my expectations by agreeing to give the homily at my mothers funeral mass in 1999. At the mass, Fr. Burgoon appropriately referenced my...
