My child met Charlie freshman year of college and they instantly clicked. They have been great friends ever since. Dear Carrie and Mike - am saddened and heart broken over your loss. Charlie sounds like an amazing young man who brought joy and life to everyone he met. In my role at Children's, I work everyday to try and support research into finding better treatments for kids like Charlie. He is an inspiration for all of us in this fight.
